My Essentials: Maxi Dresses

Hello there! Hope you had a fantastic weekend 
There was a hint of Spring here in the Capital and I just can’t wait ’til its time to pull out my dresses. I love dresses! I have a pretty good closet full of them, because when warm weather rolls in, that’s the first thing I hop into. Last year, I picked up a few maxi dresses that I fell in love with. They were perfect for going strolling with Little A. and running around with him, without feeling like the wind was going to blow the hem up and away! My favorite is black and white chevron - it’s classic and I find the lines are really flattering. What do you think of the maxi trend?

March 12, 2012 at 12:43 pm (439 days ago)When I lived in DC, I practically lived in similar maxi dresses. I have a simple black one from Gap that I dore. I also had a fun floral frilly one that I wore for special occasions. Can’t get enough them. They are the new jeans for sure! x
