Gluten Free Blueberry Oat Muffin-Tops by Udi’s and a Yummy Giveaway!

Once in a while, Little A. and Mr. Smith cater to my desire for a tea party. It’s nothing extravagant, but it is girly. I take out my pretty plates, white cups, personal tea pots, and make a sweet treat for the occasion. And sometimes, the sweet treat is the reason to have a tea party in the first place. Before I go on, I need to clarify that Little A. gets special treatment at our tea parties – he gets a sippy cup, an empty tea pot to play with, and a child-proof dessert plate – it makes it so much more enjoyable not to have to clean up broken dishes afterwards 
Late this afternoon, after a long swim, the boys were famished and dinner was far from being ready. I looked in the cupboard and pulled out a package of Udi’s Gluten Free Blueberry Oat Muffin-Tops, that was sent to me to review. Well, what better time to taste-test than when one is hungry and looking for a snack to nibble. Since these were a treat, hubby put on the kettle and coffee while I set the table.
I’ve never had a muffin top before now. Have you? I knew of them, but other than eating my home baked muffin’s top before the rest, I never just had them solo. Trying these would be a first. To begin with, they are gluten free, soy free, dairy free and nut free – a good start. They smelt really fresh when I opened up the package and placed them on small plates with orange slices. It didn’t take long for the boys to bite into theirs and Mr. Smith gave me two thumbs up before I tried mine. When it was my turn, my taste buds were also pleased with the delicious combo of blueberries and oats. They reminded me of a big, fluffy, yummy cookie – and that’s a good thing
