A Paddington Bear Birthday Party for Little A.

By Emily Smith

I’m happy to share with you today a peak into Little A’s Birthday Party! My nearly two year old (officially this Wednesday!) has a penchant for a certain cheeky bear.  He’s rather cute, loves wearing his Wellingtons and always knows just how to get out of a sticky situation. We’ve known for quite some time, that a Paddington Bear picnic would be just the sort of thing that a birthday boy might enjoy. On the party menu; Very Sticky Buns, The “Browns” Sugar Cookies, Scrumptious Sandwiches, Sea Salt Popcorn, Tangy Orange Punch and a Classic Chocolate Cake with Sprinkles.

Little A. was delighted as can be to visit with all the friends that shared his special day and with the new toys, books, and puzzles that now fill his playroom!  As a warm hearted thank you, guests took home marmalade favors that we had the pleasure of making during the week.
For activities, I found these great printouts online for colouring, word puzzles and crafting bookmarks. I also set out some plasticine, which young and old enjoyed playing with.  It was a rainy day outside, which made it the perfect day for an indoor picnic – the kind that Paddington Bear would surely approve of.
Happy 2nd Birthday my darling Little A!
