Sunday Living 14.52

Yesterday was rainy, cloudy, damp, and the lighting in our home was moody. It inspired my photos for this week’s Sunday Living. I wasn’t going for dramatic, but rather, thoughtful – desiring to transmit the easy going vibe that was happening in our home that afternoon with Nana. Just a couple of youngins being loved on and played with. It’s funny (kind of), because soon after the calm of these photographs – all mayhem broke out . Aiden didn’t want to take a nap and Abigail was fussy for over an hour, not wanting to sleep or nurse. I was desperate for that peacefulness we had but a few hours before. C’est la vie – unpredictable and amazing.

Photographs like these are darker than I normally would venture – but I love them. I love their tone and I love that they make me pause and contemplate.
