I had the pleasure of connecting with Denise, owner of Perfectly Fit, on my facebook page a few weeks ago. I checked out her website and love the intent behind her business. It lead me to her facebook page, where she had an open invitation for people to join her in this year’s Run or Dye 5km. I’ve been wanting to participate in a colour run for a few years and there seemed like no better time like the present. I’m super excited to be joining her and her team on June 21st.
Perfectly Fit is a women’s only fitness company that promotes confidence and creates a personalized environment for women to pursue their health and fitness goals. Denise’s love for fitness stemmed back years ago when Rhythmic Gymnastics entered her life. For 15 of those years, she dedicated herself to the endless hours of training and competed as a Provincial athlete and went on to Coaching. She has been fortunate enough to have developed these skills at an early age and has truly found her passion in life.
Denise established Perfectly Fit in 2012 but the journey didn’t begin there. In 2009, she started taking health and fitness courses and started her list of certifications, and with each year,she has been creating her own path in becoming the Owner and Trainer of her own business.
Outside of being a trainer, you will most likely catch me out in the fresh air reading a good book, boating, fishing, running, canoeing or simply relaxing. I love spontaneity, sunsets, cooking, my family, beaches and a nice glass of red wine. I like change and the challenge that comes along with it. But most importantly, I love the rewarding feeling and the inspiration that my clients give me in becoming the best trainer that I can be.
