8-Weeks Into The Challenge: I’m feeling stronger and motivated to hit the last four weeks hard.
Good morning readers! How was your weekend? I hope you were able to relax and enjoy some time outside. I’m disappointed that the weather hasn’t been warmer in Ottawa, but I keep hoping for spring to show up any day now. In the meantime, I prefer doing my workouts in the home, where the sun shines in and I don’t freeze in my yoga pants.
I’ve hit the two month mark on my Lorna Jane Fit Challenge! This month, I’ve followed most of the workout routines outlined, doing a lot of the beginner’s variants. I am working up my strength and I do feel a change in my energy level and strength level. I’ve particularly focused on my arms this month, with the Arm Challenge in my Lorna Jane Journal. I’m really feeling my arm power these days! When you’re toting around a 15 month old who loves to be held, that’s really a good thing.
What I like about this challenge is that I will be able to do these workouts long past the 12-weeks. That motivates me to do my best in each day and know that I will be stronger at the end of the challenge and can do these workouts again using the more challenging variants of each exercise – with even more strength and muscle.
Some of the exercises were not feasible for me, as I rebuild my core strength, so I’m thankful for the modifications available. I’m really proud of my eating and trying many of the recipes available in the Nourish Guide that comes with the challenge.
My goal for the next 4 weeks is to give it all I’ve got! I’m doing a 3-Day Juice Refresh Cleanse this week to help kick things into high gear. Let’s do this!
