Abigail’s soft pink + mint woodland chic nursery

Creating Abigail’s space was both a joy and a challenge. We’re a growing family, living in a two bedroom condo and although we began house hunting in September – we haven’t found what we are looking for yet. So, we decided until we do, that we would share our master bedroom with our darling girl. In fact, that was quite inevitable for the first months anyway (Little A. was in his Moses basket by our bed for nearly 4 months before he slept night’s in his crib). Combining our room with her nursery required a little creativity, but overall, we are so pleased with how it turned out. Thank goodness my husband is a big fan of pink 😉

  1. Emily – it is so beautiful! I adore every little detail! We’re in a two bedroom condo, too – with three kids – so Quinn is in our room too. Sadly, though, the only thing that makes it her space is her blessing dress hanging over the mini crib! I’m impressed you’ve gone all out!

And hello, it’s your due date!! It is SO hard to be patient at that point. And I was SO not patient by that point with Quinn (mostly because her brothers had come considerably earlier). I’ll be thinking of you! Best wishes, girl!

    1. Oh Erica, it IS hard to be patient at this point. I’m looking to the Heavens, saying…isn’t it time yet??? Thank you for your warm wishes and for your compliments on Abigail’s room. It’s a challenge in a smaller space, but at the same time…it’s kind of cozy and intimate too 🙂

  2. How precious, Emily! All my babies shared a room with us until they slept through the night and I have no regrets. It can be a challenge, but when they are so small I think it is a must. Many blessings to you and your family <3 Can't wait to see pictures of sweet Abigail.

    1. Thanks Jess! We had fun creating her corner of the world and picking special things for her. Oh man, we can’t wait for her to decide to come!!! 🙂 It’s got to be soon!!

  3. What an absolutely wonderful nursery! I can see you certainly put a lot of work into this and now you can’t wait for it to pay off by bringing your little go home! I think the shades of color you picked blend well with master bedroom. And that Moses basket is just adorable – very cute and chic =) I hope you have a healthy and safe delivery, and we can’t wait to meet Abigail!

    1. Thank you Nala! Such sweet things to say 🙂 We are eager to meet our little Abigail too. She is taking her time 🙂 Hope you have a lovely weekend my friend!

  4. Emily, what a warm and cozy nook you’ve created for Abigail. i adore all the special placements and those images of the woodland friends look so inviting!! absolute serenity exists there, i can practically feel the soothing vibes right through the screen. bravo!

    1. Thank you Lynn 🙂 I baby animals definitely make it a friendly little place. Can’t wait for her arrival 🙂

  5. It’s beautiful! I love the Moses basket. All of my babies spent the first six months or so next to our bed in a bassinet. There’s just nothing better when they wake for middle of the night feedings than to be able to pull them into bed with you to nurse without having to get out of bed. Best wishes finding the place you’re looking for.

Congratulations on your SITS day. I hope it’s a wonderful day for you.

    1. I agree! Having baby in arms reach for nursing and night time cuddling, is a precious thing. Thank you for your warms wishes and comments xox

  6. Hi! Hopped on over from the SITS girls! Happy feature day. This nursery design is darling. I also had my son in my bedroom for a couple of months but his nursery was not as cute as this one. Definitely a new follower!

  7. Beautiful space 🙂 May I ask, do you know the specific name/brand of the mint wall color? Love that shade. Thx!

    1. Hi Natalie, sorry that question wasn’t answered sooner. I must have missed it! The paint was Benjamin Moore, fresh mint, 2037-70. Even though it is soft, it is also quite bright, so a room with lots of light works well. Thank you for your inquiry and comment today 🙂
