Whether you’ve been journaling forever, have just picked it up, or are thinking about starting – the point of this post is to help you pick a proper journal. One might say that a pad is good enough for your thoughts – I say, pish posh. Your journal may be filled with venting, gratitude, ideas, documentation or a multitude of other things; which are in fact deserving of a nice space. A space that you can return to, reflect upon, and easily find that brilliant thought that came to you at 2 am. Hopefully, these options will point you in the right direction.
I received this Keel’s Simple Diary for Christmas from Mr. Smith and I love it! I have a few journals floating around – one for whatever, one for gratitude, one for inspiration/ideas, and now this one. It’s the quickies of diary entries. Just fill in the blanks, choose from multiple choice and write the first thing that comes to mind! It’s fun. I fill it in when I take a bubble bath – the two together, just feel right.
As for serious journaling, one might prefer a classic book with lined pages. Leather bound and straight to the point – this one should do the trick.
