What We Love About Nordgreen Watches

As a culture, I hope we are moving towards sustainability. Able to build, create, and design in a conscious way. To make and buy things while taking care of the world around us. While at the same time thinking of those who are going to come after us. That is why, more than ever, I am paying attention to brands that have a sustainable initiative.
One of the brands I have come to really appreciate is Nordgreen. With their carbon neutrality, sustainable packaging, and giving back initiatives – they are a watch company I am happy to support.
Combining Style and Sustainability
They plant thousands of trees to offset the emissions in their Copenhagen office and global shipments. Their packaging is FSC certified with materials coming from up-cycled plastic and responsibly managed forests. They have partnerships with relatable charitable programs around the globe through their Giving Back Program.
In addition, they have committed to donating a meal with every purchase to front line healthcare and rescue workers in partnership with Fuel Them LA.
You can be involved too; every purchase comes with a serial number you can use to decide on a charity (a portion of your purchase will go to that charity) that represents a cause close to your heart: Water for Good, Pratham UK, or Cool Earth.

The Philosopher Watch
I love their collection of refined and minimalist women’s and men’s watches. For my husband, who appreciates minimalist designs (and watches), I chose the Philosopher watch as the perfect Father’s Day Gift. The watch has a rose gold case with a navy blue leather strap (a great spring and summer look). This watch is SO stunning…and looks good on my wrist too. Thank goodness my hubby has no problem sharing!
