One of the things I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older is how important it is to choose healthy, whole foods and drinks for myself to stay energized throughout my busy days, especially as an entrepreneur and mom juggling lots of things. Gone are the days when I can drink a 300-calorie soda and feel no guilt about it; as research has shown time and time again, empty calories do matter when it comes to our waistlines, added sugars are bad for us, and it’s vital to make educated, mindful decisions about what we put into our bodies.
